TGIF...

Can't wait to drive home for the weekend. Still helping my friend with all his back trouble, big wimp. But, I am the one still going to work and he is at the hotel hanging out at the pool. My roomies and I accidently moved to an area that doesn't have high speed internet. Oh no, what will I ever do. Post from work or the hotel, what else. I really need to work on lj, fix my icon, and post some pics everywhere. Maybe monday.

Other weirdness...

Living out of a hotel sucks. But not as bad as the other guy that is working with me. He really hurt his back monday night and went to the er at 3am. Big baby. I had to pick him up at 8am, it wasn't easy he was still in a lot of pain after two shots. BIG baby. I had to help him get his meds on the way to the hotel. He couldn't get out of the car, and I had to sign for his happy pills. I had to almost carry him to his room in the hotel, no one was around to help and the lady at the front desk really couldn't help. He now is hotel bound and drugged out of his skull. Sucks being away from friends and family and in a lot of pain. I'm really the only one that can help him. Work got him a card, but I have to deliver it. He is quite fun to make fun of, though. The night cleark at the hotel came and visited with us after I went out and got him dinner last night. She was really cool and she kept torture/flirting with him while his was trying to eat and trying not to move or laugh. We all had a lot of fun and his spirits were up. After that, I walked her back to the office. She started really flirting with me and told me she was just joking with him, but thought is was really sweat I was taking such good care of him. Ah, instant karma gotta love it. :)

Yuck, Monday...

Moving sucks. Still didn't get finished. Next weekend for the rest of my stuff. I'm so tired I almost fell asleep while driving to work. Stopped at McD's for some breakfast, then continued on my merry late way. Work was not to upset, after I told them about almost falling asleep. They told me to be very careful and not to rush, if it was unsafe. I guess they feel responsible, since I drive three hours to get there on Monday mornings.

Another day at the salt mines ...

Actually feels like siberia in the office today. Worked on animating some icons, but none of them really looked very good. I'll keep trying, I got some ideas from icons r us. I'm not sleeping well, to much noise at the hotel. I can't wait until the weekend, I get to see K ;)

Moving is fun...

Roomies and I started moving this weekend. We don't really have to leave until the end of may, but we can move in this weekend. Made of bunch of car trips, nothing too heavy. Just got 'The Mammoth Book of Illustrated Erotica'. Wow... I want to take pics like that.

Home at last...

Well, I made it home alive, despite all the 18-wheelers trying to run me off the road. Took lots of pictures of the zed, willow, and china. See the posts on kittie_porn

Cold and rainy...

Today the construction zone was much better, and cooler. The rain and mist outside lowered the temp to something you could stand. Still too many idiots asked me what I was doing and wanted to check my badge. Mullet city. Found all the hubs I was looking for, now the hard part. I'm driving home for the weekend. Three hour drive to dallas. Can't wait to see my roomies and cats.

Very Hot and Humid...

Working in the construction zone for the first time was really bad. No one recognized me and constantly asked if I should be there. I hate stupid people, like they could'nt look at my badge and see I was supposed to be there. Finding the infra hubs was near impossible. The cat walks are barely stable and trash was everywhere making walking difficult. Not to mention the ac has not really kicked in out there. So now, I'm standing in my cube in front of a fan with like four ice waters. Off to lunch...
